We’re partnering with the Irish Cultural Center McClelland Library to bring you this special event! Chas Moore, Head Librarian of the Irish Cultural Center McClelland Library and special guests, gives this special lecture demonstration on the Irish Vocal Tradition. The lecture spans from old lyric poetry which developed into solo singing style, to the music of the 1960’s, and ends with discussion about the music of Michael McGlynn and his choral ensemble Anúna.
This event is presented by the Irish Cultural Center McClelland Library with support from the Phoenix Chorale.
