Aaron M. Villalobos Executive Director Nicole Belmont rounds out her administrative staff with the addition…
Wow! THANK YOU for making our 60th Season such a monumental success! To our donors, patrons, alumni singers, volunteers, in-kind donors, concert venues, outreach partners, and guest lecturers–together with your time, talent, and support–we achieved so much in our diamond anniversary year.
In our 60th Season, we hosted five guest conductors, presented four lectures, performed in two educational choral festivals, and our audiences grew overall by 32%. We saw a 53% jump in student attendance and saw our online videos viewed over 110,000 times! We held our very first reunion weekend, welcoming former Chorale singers going all the way back to 1958(!) and presented them in a beautiful moving concert in April.
And, to top it all off, we announced the appointment of new Artistic Director Christopher Gabbitas, concluding a search that lasted nearly two years. Chris’s first season is just around the corner and we invite you to be part of this exciting new chapter—you can read all about our 2019/20 Season here >
On behalf of the board, staff, and singers, thank you for your devotion to exceptional music and the Phoenix Chorale.
