Barnwell’s Wanting Memories and Ingram Marshall’s Hymnodic Delays explore how the voices of the past echo within us, before Herbert Howells Requiem (written in the shadow of his son’s death) carries us from grief toward the promise of light eternal.

Life, Love, and Light

Saturday, October 10 - 11 2026

For our first concerts back after the summer, we’re sharing one of the all time best pieces of music ever written for choir, the Requiem by the English composer Herbert Howells. It’s sad, in a bittersweet kind of sad. Something to cry over that’s not grocery prices. There’s also plenty of not-sad music that celebrates life.

Come bring your feels.
