UNCLOUDED day – A celebration of choral music

3900 E. Stanford Dr., Paradise Valley

“Unclouded Day is a celebration of the beauty of choral music, featuring diverse settings of uplifting and comforting texts and offering thanks for the opportunity to meet again in person and make music. Three traditional American melodies form the backbone of the repertoire, which has as its central point Sir Benjamin Britten’s choral masterpiece Hymn to St Cecilia, an ode in praise of the Roman martyr and patron saint of music. Choral favorites by Morten Lauridsen and Ola Gjeilo complete the program, along with two contemporary British works by Roxanna Panufnik and Roderick Williams.”

The ensemble returns for an intimate one-time live concert for film. Exclusively at Camelback Bible Church, Paradise Valley, numbers will be limited for this event as we are shooting a film of our return to live performance – early birds will catch the worm!

The Phoenix Chorale is deeply committed to the health and safety of everyone, not only within our organization but also those who attend our concerts. To that end, we have verified that all Phoenix Chorale personnel, including artists, staff and volunteers have been vaccinated prior to participating in any chorale activities. In addition, we have developed the requirements listed for our subscribers and ticket holders. Specific health and safety protocols are subject to change. We will update audience health and safety protocols to align with medical and public health advice and will comply with the guidelines set by the CDC, our State and local governments, and the venues in which we perform. Changes will be clearly communicated in advance of any performance.

Ticket holders who do not comply with these protocols will not be admitted.

  • All patrons will be required to wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status. We will provide one if you have forgotten yours. This is in accordance with current CDC guidelines for high transmission areas.
  • Upon arrival all patrons must submit to a mandatory temperature check. Patrons with a temperature of 100.4 or higher will not be permitted to enter the space. In this event, tickets will be refunded in full and all options to view the performance will be explained.
  • We expect all of our patrons to be vaccinated. At present we are not requiring proof but this may change.
  • Do not come if you have recently been exposed to a person with COVID-19, are experiencing symptoms, or have been sick with COVID-19 within the past 14 days.
