Building on the momentum of recent triumphant performances at Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts which audiences described as “absolutely breathtaking” and “a transcendent experience,” Phoenix Chorale closes the season by returning to their purest form: unaccompanied voices.

Experience folksong, contemporary composition, and Renaissance motets on a journey stretching beyond the horizon. HORIZONS is an eclectic a capella program of international music with Phoenix at the crossroads. With sounds from Scotland, Japan, New Zealand, Newfoundland, Chile, and South Africa, HORIZONS is an expansive cultural exchange, held over Mother’s Day weekend.

HORIZONS will feature the 4th world premiere in the Chorale’s Commissioning Series from women composers. Phoenix Chorale is proud to present the world premiere of No Final Shore by one of the most in-demand composers of the moment: Joanna Marsh.
