You’ll now have an extra opportunity to enjoy one of Phoenix’s most beloved holiday traditions when Arizona Encore presents A Chorale Christmas: Navidad on Tuesday, December 20th at 7pm MST. Arizona Encore airs on KBAQ, KNAU, and DTV-8.5.
‘Thanks to Arizona PBS, and KBAQ specifically, we are so lucky to be able to share the art of choral music with everyone in Arizona, especially those who may not be able to come to our concerts or live close by,” said Nicole Belmont, Phoenix Chorale Executive Director. “We will be sending our warmest wishes to all for the Season through our music.”
The performance will be recorded live at Pinnacle Presbyterian Church on December 16th and rebroadcast the following week.
A Chorale Christmas: NAVIDAD shines a light on the wealth of Spanish and Latin music that pertains to this time of year, and commemorates the 150th anniversary of Ralph Vaughan Williams with his nostalgia-fueled Fantasia on Christmas Carols, plus expect dazzling arrangements of favorite Holiday songs. The Chorale’s beloved tradition includes audience carol sing. Start practicing!
