Elijah Frank is thrilled to be returning to the Phoenix Chorale for their 2021 – 2022 season after seventeen years since his last performance with them. A native of Phoenix, Elijah has performed with various ensembles here in the Valley including the American Bach Series, Canto Vivo, Canticum Novum, and the festival choir of the Arizona Bach Festival.
Outside of AZ Elijah has sung with Christ Church Cathedral Choir of Men and Boys of Indianapolis, Mon Choeur, Indianapolis Pro Musica, and the Intercontinental Projektkor in the Netherlands. He has performed on many recordings including the Chorale’s Grammy Award winning recording of Grechaninov’s, “Passion Week”.
As a soloist, Elijah has performed mainly as a countertenor in the works of Bach and Handel including the B Minor Mass, St. John Passion, The Messiah, and the Brockes Passion. Elijah has studied with countertenor, Steven Rickards at the University of Indianapolis, and tenor, David Britton at Arizona State University.
He begins his twentieth year as Tenor section leader and soloist at All Saints’ Episcopal Church in Phoenix.
